Morgan Raese
Hi my name is Morgan Raese! I am 16 years old and I am a Junior at Greenwood High School. Dance has been a huge part of my life ever since I started classes at the age of 3. At the age of 8 I tried out for the classical ballet program at Main Street Conservatory of Dance. I continued with that program until the age of 15 along with many other classes such as ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and modern. While attending MSCD, I performed in the annual Nutcracker from the age 8 to 15, the annual recital, and many ballet company performances. My favorite style of dance is Ballet and Pointe. I was given the opportunity last year by Mrs. Holly to become a substitute teacher at Uplifting Movement Factory and I am very excited to further my teaching experience in helping teach a class this year and to share my love for dance with others.
I am currently involved in: FFA, Student Council, FCCLA , Band and Choir, The one act paly, Jazz band, Jazz choir, Volleyball, and I am our current class president. I am participating in softball and the three acts play this spring. Right now in school I am currently taking two AP classes for college credits, intro to psychology and personal finance. Next semester, I am planning on taking intro to sociology. Right now I have not decided what I want to study after high school but I do plan to attend a four year school after high school. Outside of school, sports, and extracurricular activities I love to spend my time playing musical instruments especially the piano, I love to hunt and fish and spend my free time out at the lake with my family and friends. I am so excited for what this year at the studio is going to bring and can’t wait to see where this opportunity takes me! |
